I’m So Glad You’re Here

MEET BRITTANY

Hello! I am Brittany Booth, a board-certified, UCLA-trained adult psychiatrist with a passion for treating people during reproductive transitions such as pregnancy and postpartum. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Boston University and my medical degree from UCLA. I also completed my psychiatry residency at UCLA, where I served as Chief Resident of the inpatient units and Chief Resident of the Women’s Life Center, a world-renowned center for reproductive psychiatry. In addition to my private practice, I am also now the associate director of the Women’s Life Center and see patients in the UCLA Maternal Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, reading (mostly romantasy), baking, exploring new restaurants, watching movies, and seeing as many musicals as I can!

MY FOCUS

My specialty is perinatal psychiatry, also called reproductive psychiatry. This specialty focuses on the management of psychiatric disorders during times of hormonal transition such as conception, fertility treatment, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause. These transitional times are complex, and managing psychiatric illness during them requires specialized training and care.
